1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, buying a product, or using FireBoard Pro, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Individual accounts
Accounts are for one person, not a department, academy, team, or shared group. Keep your login private and provide accurate account information, including your email, department, current rank, target rank, and Entry or Promotional track. You are responsible for activity under your account and should contact us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.
3. Submission credits and pricing
Current products, package sizes, and prices are shown on the Pricing page. One submission credit covers one written, audio, or video answer, or one LIVE Recording. Credits do not expire, cannot be transferred between accounts, and have no cash value except where the Refund & Cancellation Policy provides a refund. Posted prices may change for future purchases, but a change will not alter credits already purchased.
4. Reviews and the 24-hour promise
A human coach reviews each accepted submission and returns practical feedback within 24 hours after submission. If FireBoard Pro misses that window, we add one regular submission credit to your account once the deadline is detected in your account or the review is returned. The returned credit is the remedy for a missed turnaround promise; any separate refund rights remain governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
A delivered review is coach judgment intended to help you prepare. It may include notes, annotations, or rubric scores depending on the answer and format.
5. Revisions
After a review is returned, you may buy a discounted revision at the price shown in that review thread. A revision is tied to that returned submission and cannot be used for a new answer or transferred to another submission.
6. LIVE Recording rules
A LIVE Recording is a one-take exercise. After you start, a random Fire or EMS scenario matched to the available profile criteria is revealed, recording begins with a 30-second gather period, and you receive no second attempt for that session. Your browser uses its camera and microphone for video mode, or its microphone for audio mode, after you grant permission.
If the session remains unfinished without an uploaded recording, its credit is returned after the 45-minute recovery window when you next open your dashboard or LIVE Recording, regardless of whether the interruption came from the browser, device, network, or leaving the flow. The revealed scenario remains in your served-question history.
7. Private Zoom coaching
When private Zoom coaching is offered on the Pricing page, its current duration and price are shown before checkout. After purchase, you submit preferred times and coaching focus, and a coach confirms the appointment. You may reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice. A member no-show or a cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice forfeits the session. If the coach cancels, you choose either a full refund or a rebooked session.
8. Payments, cancellations, and refunds
Stripe processes payments. FireBoard Pro does not see or store full payment-card numbers. Refund eligibility, unused-credit requests, partial-pack calculations, delivered reviews, missed turnaround, unfinished LIVE sessions, and Zoom cancellations are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these terms.
9. Your content and our limited license
You keep ownership of written, audio, and video content you submit. You give FireBoard Pro and Impulse Learning LLC a limited license to view, store, copy, transmit, and process it only as reasonably needed to provide coaching, operate and secure the service, maintain records, and meet legal obligations. You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not unlawfully expose confidential, private, or third-party material.
Coach feedback is licensed to you for your own personal interview and promotion preparation. Do not sell, publish, or distribute it as a competing training product.
10. FireBoard Pro content and acceptable use
FireBoard Pro and its licensors own the service, question bank, scenarios, answer guidance, site design, branding, and related materials. You may use assigned material for your personal preparation only. You may not scrape, copy in bulk, republish, sell, share access to, or build a competing bank from that material.
Do not misuse the service, probe or bypass security, interfere with other members, upload unlawful or malicious material, impersonate another person, harass a coach, or use automated systems to extract content. We may investigate abuse and suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or others.
11. Educational service; no outcome promised
FireBoard Pro is a preparation and education service. Feedback reflects a coach's professional judgment, not an official scoring decision. We do not guarantee employment, a passing score, placement on an eligibility list, or promotion. FireBoard Pro is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any fire department, civil service commission, testing authority, or employer.
12. Service availability and termination
We work to keep the service available, but maintenance, browser limitations, network conditions, or events outside our control may interrupt access. We may suspend or terminate an account for fraud, shared access, scraping, harassment, security threats, unlawful conduct, or other material violations of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion under the Privacy Policy. Refund rights do not expand because an account is terminated for abuse.
13. Liability limit
To the fullest extent allowed by law, FireBoard Pro and Impulse Learning LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost opportunities, or employment decisions arising from the service. Our total liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid FireBoard Pro during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited or your non-waivable consumer rights.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Impulse Learning LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any mandatory rights or venue protections available to you under applicable law remain in place.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these terms to reflect service or legal changes. We will post the revised terms with a new effective date and give additional notice for material changes when appropriate. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them.
Questions about these terms can be sent to info@fireboardpro.com.
